The lanes we run

Nairobi, Mombasa and China to Juba

Nairobi is where most sourced in Kenya cargo is consolidated. Mombasa is where cargo arriving by sea from China, India, the UAE, Turkey, Europe and the USA enters the corridor. From China we also run a door to door service with duty and taxes included in the published rate.

Two different customs processes

Kenyan cargo and international transit cargo

These are not the same job. Goods bought in Kenya are exported from Kenya. Goods arriving from abroad and continuing to South Sudan move under a transit regime and are not entered for Kenyan home use. Getting that distinction right is what keeps cargo moving.

For UN agencies and NGOs

Humanitarian cargo and exempted goods

Relief cargo travels the same roads as everything else, but it clears under different rules. Whether a consignment pays tax turns on an exemption file, and that file is decided by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning rather than by a forwarder.

We move the cargo, prepare and lodge the exemption application, follow it through, and clear on whatever decision is issued. We will tell you honestly what is realistic. We will not promise you an exemption, and neither should anyone else.

What we handle

  • Medical supplies, cold chain and pharmaceuticals
  • WASH, shelter and non food items
  • Food and nutrition commodities
  • Programme vehicles, generators and equipment

And on the paperwork

  • The exemption file, lodged and followed through
  • Transit declaration and bond through Kenya and Uganda
  • Clearance into South Sudan on the decision issued
  • The document trail your donor will audit

Delivered to the field

  • Kapoeta, Torit, Bor, Bentiu, Malakal
  • Rumbek, Wau, Aweil, Yambio, Yei
  • Quoted per movement, because season and access decide the route
